High Upload Latency

Chunks are uploading slowly, causing buffer drain during normal streaming.

Step-by-step guide

  1. 1Switch from WiFi to wired Ethernet for more stable upload speed
  2. 2Run the built-in speed test: POST /relay/speedtest
  3. 3Apply the 70% rule: only use 70% of your upload bandwidth for bitrate
  4. 4Close background apps consuming upload bandwidth (cloud sync, updates)
  5. 5Reduce OBS bitrate or resolution to match your available upload speed
  6. 6Check your ISP for upload throttling during peak hours
